IMAs have a Great January

This past month our IMA team performed like ROCK STARS! We had eight IMA referral sales for the month of January, our best month ever! We will be cutting the $2000.00 in commission checks and sending them out on the 15th.

We want to thank everyone who sent us a referral in January. Not every deal gets done, but we work extremely hard to help every person who steps onto our lot, calls or contacts our Internet Sales Department.

I would also like to welcome our newest IMAs to the team. The past two months we saw the highest number of people join our team than at any time since its inception.  Many of you are customers of John Marazzi Nissan and several of you were actually referred here by an IMA. This kind of “word of mouth” advertising is priceless!

Did you know that every month in Southwest Florida there are more than 8000 cars sold? Yes, even in this economy people are buying new and used vehicles for one reason or another. The key for you is to keep your ears open for anyone who mentions that they might be in the market for a new or used car. You don’t need to do any selling, simply tell them that you have a friend in the car business.

You can use the IMA referral page  or give me a call and I’ll take it from there. Not only will they get a great deal and a Lifetime Warranty, but they will get to spin the Gift Wheel and drive home with a new car and a gift.

’tis the season for setting goals

As 2009 comes to a close we are looking forward to 2010 and all that she will bring us. We are extremely optimistic and are clearly focused on a successful new year. Now is the time to sit with pen and paper and put into writing all of the things that you wish to accomplish for 2010.

 The writing of your goals can be an extremely positive experience. It gives you a chance to reset yourself and either get back on track or completely change direction. You can involve your loved ones, and set goals for your family. Take some time to choose a path for the coming year, whether they be financial, spiritual, or physical. Hang your goals up where they can be easily read each day. I like to hang mine next to my bathroom mirror. Remember goals unwritten are only dreams.  

We are very happy with the growth and success of the IMA program. It has in some ways taken on a life of its own. We have averaged five referrals sold each month since June 2009. We have the very first Affiliate Marketing program in the automobile industry and it is yours, right here in Southwest Florida.

As our customer base has grown so has the enrollment in our IMA program. It is vital for us to remain focused on excellent customer service before, during and after the sale. You can be assured that anyone that you refer to John Marazzi Nissan will be treated to the best possible purchase experience and service after the sale.

IMAs on a roll in October!

Hey Gang,

I just wanted to reach out to our IMA faithful with a quick October update.
John Marazzi Nissan is on pace to having our best month ever. The Nissan Tent
Event was a huge success and we now have extra incentives from Nissan due to
our “Elite Ten” Dealer status. 

Our  IMA program is also having its best month ever.  We have already delivered 
four vehicles to customers that were referred through an IMA! We are currently working a
half a dozen or so IMA leads at this moment so if you submitted one recently hang in
there, we’re working hard for you and your friend.

September (a bit wordy, but please read it anyway;) Accomplishments

Hello Gang,
September was a challenging month for the auto industry. The Cash for Clunkers hangover had its grip on most dealers. The trick was to see it coming early on, adapt and overcome.

I am proud to say that even though most auto manufacturers were down, John Marazzi Nissan was up 40% over last year. We once again took the number one spot in Southwest Florida against Sutherlin and Harbor Nissan and we moved into the #15 spot Nationwide!

This past weekend we saw our 200th IMA sign up. Although many of our IMAs are not actively participating in the program, the ones that are have managed to put some nice incremental income in their pockets.

This September we had four of our IMAs score with a referral that purchased a new or used vehicle with us. We had; Kerry, Angela, Donna, and for the second month in a row Ivan put $250 in the hip.

We are now moving into season in Southwest Florida and we know based on last year that we will have a tremendous opportunity to increase our market share. The next four months or so will be critical to every area business. We must not waste even one opportunity to attract a new customer or WOW a loyal one.

So keep your ears and eyes open for anyone who could be in the market for a new or used car. We promise to give them an incredible experience, excellent service during and after the sale.

Let’s make this the very best month for the IMA program yet! Our goal is to sell eight IMA referrals in October. Get in the game and get paid!

How to Identify a Good IMA Referral

I wanted to take this opportunity to share with you some “Best Practices” that are working well for our most successful IMAs.  

One of the big questions we get is “How do I identify a good IMA referral?”

Here are a few ideas.

1. Do you know someone who has a son or daughter that is looking for their first vehicle. They are more than likely looking for something Safe, Reliable and affordable. John Marazzi Nissan has a wide selection of vehicles that fit that description.

2. Do you know someone who has a lease coming due and they are not sure what they should do, We’re here to help.

3. Have you recently heard someone mention that their current car payment is too high. That is a great opportunity because we are paying top dollar for Good quality vehicles and have some great incentives that will help them lower their payments.

4. Some that may have heard complaining about the gas mileage that their current vehicle gets. We have a huge selection of vehicles, both new and pre-owned that are very fuel efficient.

Don’t forget to make sure that they tell us that you referred them or just use the “Quick Referral” link to send us the information.

How to obtain the $1000 email template from IMA portal

This week we are rolling out an email template for IMA Reps to send their contacts. The video in this post walks you through the process of logging in to the IMA Portal and obtaining the code for the ad. Written instructions are included beneath the video as well.

To begin, log in to your account on the IMA Portal.

Next, in the left side bar once logged in you will see a section labeled Marketing Materials. This section classifies the different types of materials as specified. For this particular ad you want to select Email Templates.

Once you select Email Templates you should see a template labeled, “Email Forward to Friend”. Beneath the title of this you should also see the URL to where your contacts will be referred when clicking the ad, and beneath this is a link to preview the ad that you are sending. If for some reason you are prompted to log in after attemtping to preview the ad, just log in again as you see me do in the video.

Notice in the ad that your name and IMA Rep ID is displayed. This assures you that when your contacts that receive this ad from you click on the video in the ad, you will be credited with the website referral should they purchase a vehicle.

This about covers it. All you need to do once obtaining the code for the template is paste it into your email marketing program and voila, your contacts will be referred. If you do presently have a solution for email marketing and desire one please visit our partner website for more information.
